Government Recruitment Service is recruiting a Sustainability and Utilities Officer to join the Property Sustainability and Energy team, supporting Defra Group and Environment Agency properties. You will help ensure the provision and payment of utilities (gas, electricity, water) across sites.

You will collate invoices, update data sheets, allocate and distribute costs, drive efficiencies with AI/CoPilot, and report on progress toward the Greening Government Commitments while supporting wider

• Collating invoices and arranging payment of utilities across Defra Group and Environment Agency properties
• Updating data sheets to reflect changes in property ownership and utility meters
• Allocating and distributing costs between sites
• Driving efficiencies in team processes, including through the use of AI/CoPilot
• Reporting performance on the Greening Government Commitments (government sustainability targets)
• Assisting in wider sustainability, energy efficiency and resilience projects as required
