Qualifications

• Degree in Environmental Science or related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and guidelines.
• Solid understanding of engineering best practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop, gain approval for, and implement comprehensive Sustainability policies (e.g., Waste, Zero Deforestation, Diversity & Inclusion).
• Propose future Sustainability Strategy, projects, and activities in response to requirements and trends.
• Deputise for Environment Manager and drive Net Zero, energy, waste and water targets.
• Establish work streams with objectives to embed sustainability initiatives into day-to-day operations.
• Develop long-term plans for energy, waste and water.
• Collate and present data trends to stakeholders to drive sustainability goals.
• Timely submission of reports including SECR, CCA, and other required disclosures.
• Create and publish the company’s Sustainability Strategy and annual Sustainability Report.
• Lead ISO 50001 energy management and audits to ensure compliance.
