Confidential Organisation in the UK seeks an experienced Sustainability Lead to own the ESG strategy across a diverse portfolio of major construction and infrastructure projects. This is more than compliance, driving meaningful ESG change from concept through to delivery.

You will lead a team of sustainability specialists, influence senior stakeholders, and embed innovative, measurable practices across design, procurement and construction stages.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering sustainability initiatives within the construction or built environment sector.
• Proven ability to balance ambitious ESG objectives with programme demands.
• Excellent communication skills to influence stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Leading Sustainability Strategy – Develop and deliver ambitious sustainability strategies across a national project portfolio.
• Driving ESG Excellence – Embed ESG principles throughout design, procurement and construction from concept to completion.
• Inspiring & Developing Teams – Lead, mentor and grow a team of sustainability professionals.
• Influencing Key Stakeholders – Collaborate with clients, consultants, regulators and supply chain partners to align sustainability goals.
• Championing Innovation – Introduce forward-thinking approaches and sustainable construction methodologies with measurable impact.
