Job summary

Ciwmjobs is seeking a SHEQ Advisor with a strong focus on sustainability to support construction projects and drive improvements across health, safety, environment, and quality standards.

You will maintain ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001, advise on environmental compliance, conduct site inspections and audits, and develop Net Zero plans and carbon reporting while supporting BREEAM accreditations.

Qualifications

• Requires knowledge of ISO 14001 and environmental requirements in construction.
• Experience with carbon measurement and sustainability reporting.
• Familiar with GHG Protocol for carbon accounting.
• Able to conduct audits and communicate with stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Support the maintenance and improvement of integrated management systems, including ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001.
• Advise project teams and senior management on environmental compliance and sustainability.
• Conduct site inspections, audits and follow-up actions to ensure compliance with standards.
• Develop and monitor sustainability initiatives, including Net Zero plans and carbon reporting.
• Support project teams in achieving sustainability accreditations, including BREEAM where required.
• Assist with environmental and social value input for tender submissions.
• Deliver training, inductions and guidance to staff and supply chain partners.
• Collate data, prepare reports and identify opportunities to reduce environmental impact.
