Recco in Essex is seeking a SHEQ Advisor with a strong focus on sustainability to support construction projects and drive improvements in health, safety, environment and quality.

You will maintain integrated management systems, advise management on environmental compliance, conduct site inspections and audits, and develop Net Zero plans with carbon reporting metrics. You will support BREEAM accreditation, tender input, and deliver training while collating data to reduce environmental impact.

Formación

• Qualified in SHEQ, environmental management or sustainability.
• Strong ISO 14001 knowledge in construction projects.
• Experience with carbon measurement, reporting and data collection.
• Familiar with GHG Protocol and carbon reporting frameworks.
• Auditing experience and ability to communicate with stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain and improve integrated management systems (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001).
• Advise on environmental compliance and sustainability to project teams.
• Conduct site inspections, audits and follow-up actions.
• Develop Net Zero plans and carbon reporting metrics.
• Support sustainability accreditations such as BREEAM where required.
• Assist with environmental and social value input for tenders.
• Deliver training and guidance to staff and suppliers.
• Collate data, prepare reports and identify opportunities to reduce impact.
