Job summary

Baker Snell is seeking a part-time Workplace, Safety & Sustainability Coordinator in Exeter on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The role covers ESG reporting, carbon reduction, and safety compliance across workplace and facilities.

Qualifications

• Experience in administration, coordination, compliance or operational support roles.
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines.
• Comfort communicating with people at all levels and building relationships.
• Experience handling data, spreadsheets and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate ESG reporting and sustainability activities.
• Assist carbon reduction and environmental initiatives.
• Monitor progress against sustainability objectives.
• Act as a key contact for workplace and facilities matters.
• Liaise with contractors, landlords and service providers.
• Maintain statutory compliance, inspection and testing records.
• Support workplace improvement projects.
• Coordinate health and safety activities and risk assessments.
• Maintain accident, incident and DSE records.
• Organise workplace safety training and awareness activities.
• Support audits and record-keeping across workstreams.
