Medik8 is hiring a Sustainability Coordinator in Aylesbury for its Sustainability team. The role drives data integrity, carbon accounting, and green claims substantiation across product lifecycles.

You will manage material approvals, packaging recyclability assessments, and regulatory compliance while partnering with R&D, Marketing, and Procurement. Hybrid work, salary £30,000–£32,000 with opportunities to lead and mentor a Sustainability Apprentice.

Qualifications

• Data systems & accuracy for sustainability reporting and external reporting.
• Carbon inventory data collection, PCF data, and anomaly audits.
• Packaging recyclability assessments and raw material traceability workflows.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and mentorship of junior team members.
• Understanding of packaging regulations: EPR, Plastic Packaging Tax, PPWR.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day sustainability approvals for materials in line with R&D.
• Own data collection for product carbon footprints and PCFs.
• Gather evidence for green claims and ensure substantiation files.
• Audit data across packaging and chemicals to maintain single source of truth.
• Coordinate sustainability reporting and regulatory compliance across territories.
• Lead and develop the Sustainability Apprentice and train internal teams.
