Sustainability Reporting Specialist

Location: London

Salary: £50,000 to £60,000 + Car Allowance and Excellent Benefits

Join one of the UK's leading construction specialists as a Sustainability Reporting Specialist. This role offers the opportunity to influence how materials are managed even before a project begins.

We are engaged by a prominent construction and civil engineering organisation, a specialist subcontractor with a turnover of approximately £300 million, involved in hundreds of projects across the UK.

Responsibilities:

1. Serve as a subject matter expert on sustainability reporting, leading pre-construction audits and assessments.
2. Lead sustainability reporting efforts, focusing on pre-construction assessments to identify reuse and recycling opportunities aligned with environmental goals and commercial strategies.
3. Conduct site visits to collect data, producing documentation to support early-stage project planning and tenders.
4. Gather and organize data to produce clear, accurate reports for internal teams and external stakeholders.

Candidate Requirements:

• Extensive experience in sustainability reporting within the construction industry or related sectors.
• Experience with BREEAM and WELL frameworks is desirable.
• A degree in a relevant environmental or sustainability field, and membership of a certification body such as IEMA or ICRS.
• Strong relationship-building skills with external stakeholders to meet strategic objectives.
