Job summary

Booker Group is seeking a Sustainability Analyst to support reporting, regulatory and data activities across the business. Working with the Sustainability Manager, you’ll help translate complex information into clear guidance and support customer reporting and corporate target tracking.

You will engage with multiple teams to improve data collection, management and reporting, and you’ll contribute to improvements in processes and stakeholder engagement in a fast-moving sustainability environment.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with large data sets.
• Experience using Excel, Microsoft 365; Tableau experience is beneficial.
• Good process management skills and a focus on data quality, controls and efficiency.
• Clear communication of complex regulatory and technical information to different audiences.
• Ability to build positive relationships and work with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Proactive and curious approach to emerging UK/EU sustainability legislation.

Responsibilities

• Support the Sustainability Manager in assessing and embedding current and emerging sustainability requirements into business processes.
• Stay up to date with UK and EU sustainability legislation and support its implementation across the business.
• Turn complex regulatory and technical information into clear, practical guidance for different stakeholders.
• Collect, analyse and report sustainability data across carbon, packaging, EPR, EUDR and food waste.
• Support customer sustainability reporting and tracking of corporate targets.
