Job summary

Booker Group plc is seeking a Sustainability Analyst to support reporting, regulatory and data activities across the business. You will work with the Sustainability Manager to address UK and EU requirements, turning complex information into clear guidance and helping track corporate targets.

The role offers a varied mix of data work, guidance creation, stakeholder engagement and process improvements within a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with large data sets.
• Experience with Excel, Tableau or data visualization tools.
• Good communication and ability to explain complex information.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Curious about UK/EU sustainability regulation.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the Sustainability Manager in assessing and embedding current and emerging sustainability requirements into business processes.
• Staying up to date with UK and EU sustainability legislation and supporting its implementation across the business.
• Helping to turn complex regulatory and technical information into clear, practical guidance for different stakeholders.
• Collecting, analysing and reporting sustainability data across areas including carbon, packaging, EPR, EUDR and food waste.
• Supporting customer sustainability reporting and the tracking of corporate targets across carbon, food waste and packaging.
• Supporting improvements to data flows, controls and reporting processes to help strengthen data quality and governance.
• Helping to develop engagement materials including presentations, guidance documents, briefings, webinars and internal communications.
• Supporting stakeholder meetings and discussions, helping to ensure actions, responsibilities and next steps are clear.
• Helping to identify and support continuous improvement opportunities across sustainability reporting, processes and engagement.
• Working collaboratively with teams across Booker to support our sustainability priorities and help ensure everyone feels welcome.
