Job Description

Role: Project & Process Manager - Sustainability

Role Type: Temporary – 12 Months

Location: Macclesfield – 3 days on-site per week / 2 days remote

Your New Role

The role involves managing projects and processes that support enterprise-wide sustainability transformation, embedding sustainability into all operations. The role includes risk management, benefits & value management, and ensuring project quality and compliance. It requires stakeholder engagement, cross-functional collaboration, and representing Global Sustainability externally.

The role includes acting as a Business Process Owner, leading process reviews and improvements, and sitting within the Projects and Change team in Global Sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional sustainability projects using recognized project management frameworks.
• Own and improve business processes within Global Sustainability.
• Provide expert input to transformational activities.
• Develop and champion sustainability strategy in AstraZeneca.
• Manage projects, budgets, benefits, and risks.
• Communicate effectively and influence stakeholders internally and externally.
• Demonstrate high business acumen and relevant experience in sustainability and regulated industries.
