This Sustainability Manager role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee YouGov’s sustainability approach, impacting employee engagement, social initiatives, environmental management, and corporate reporting. The role involves developing and implementing our sustainability program, covering ESG and D&I factors, in collaboration with Governance and People departments. Success requires managing compliance with sustainability regulations and championing YouGov’s ESG strengths.

This is a hybrid role, requiring at least two days per week in the office, supporting work-life balance through a mix of in-office and remote work.

The role reports to the Deputy Company Secretary within the Governance Department.

Note: Visa sponsorship is not available; candidates must be eligible to work in the UK on a permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee sustainability compliance and initiatives aligned with company size, strategy, and culture.
• Manage data collection and analysis for regulatory disclosures (e.g., TCFD, SECR, ESOS, CSRD, EGPG).
• Coordinate with external consultants on sustainability compliance and reporting obligations.
• Draft and oversee sustainability-related corporate reports, including ESG reports and pay gap reports.
• Maintain ESG content on external websites and internal intranet.
• Manage industry memberships related to sustainability.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience in sustainability management in a UK corporate environment, preferably in research, media, technology, or consulting.
• Experience developing and implementing ESG and D&I initiatives.
• Strong understanding of YouGov’s social mission and ability to promote social and governance credentials.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
• Experience with regulatory sustainability disclosures and reporting.
• Ability to manage external consultants and internal teams for sustainability reporting.
• Experience managing industry memberships.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with sustainability portals (e.g., CDP, Ecovadis).
• Line management experience.
