Job summary

Bimplus is seeking a Sustainability Lead to drive the environmental strategy on a landmark advanced manufacturing project in Somerset. You will work with project leadership, operations, clients and suppliers to embed sustainable practices across the full construction lifecycle and ensure carbon reduction targets are met.

Qualifications

• Experience within sustainability, environmental management or ESG on major construction, infrastructure or industrial projects.
• Strong understanding of sustainable construction principles and environmental legislation.
• Experience monitoring and reporting sustainability performance and environmental KPIs.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead the sustainability strategy across a major construction project.
• Drive environmental and sustainability initiatives throughout project delivery.
• Monitor sustainability performance and report against project objectives.
• Support carbon reduction, waste minimisation and resource efficiency programmes.
• Work closely with project teams to improve environmental performance on site.
• Collaborate with subcontractors and supply chain partners to ensure sustainability objectives are achieved.
