Dyfed Powys Police invites applications for a paid Sustainability Intern to support decarbonisation, biodiversity, and a sustainability-aware culture. The role offers real-life project experience and mentorship in a disciplined, team-oriented environment.

Salary is £27,204 for a fixed 12-month period starting September 2027. Applicants should be near/after degree completion and eligible to work in the UK; interviews will be held in Carmarthen.

To be eligible for the Dyfed Powys Police Internship Programme:

You must currently be studying on a degree course or graduated in the past 12 months.

Have lived in the UK for three continuous years, immediately prior to application. The calculation of the three-year period of time refers to the period immediately before an application is made.

Face-to-face Interviews will be held at Dyfed Powys Police Headquarters in Carmarthen: 3rd, 4th December.

1. Must be working towards a degree or equivalent qualification related tothe specialist field of sustainability or graduated in the last 12 months (E)(E)
2. Must possess G.C.S. E’s Grades A-C/5-9, in Mathematics and EnglishLanguage, or have proven relevant experience to a comparable level innumeracy and literacy (E)
3. Must be able to assess priorities and adapt to change (E)
4. Must be computer literate and proficient in Microsoft applications and must beable to input and access computer information (E)
5. Must be receptive and respond to new procedures (E)
