Qualifications

• Environment related subjects - e.g. Geography, Ecology, Environmental Sciences and related degrees

Responsibilities

• Assure compliance with the LOR Energy and Environmental Management System.
• Support project teams to embed sustainability requirements within the project and client needs.
• Review, advise and deliver environmental training for project staff and operatives.
• Engage with the workforce around environmental issues.
• Collating and reporting on environmental performance.
• Ensuring that environmental requirements (inductions, toolbox talks and briefings) are included and records are kept.
• Reviewing activity method statements to include relevant environmental and waste requirements.
• Undertaking routine environmental inspections and monitoring arrangements.
• Ensuring environmental emergency arrangements are tested as appropriate.
• Participating in management reviews and audits of the Environmental Management Plan.
• Reporting and investigating environmental incidents and corrective actions.
• Participating in project-related community activity and work experience opportunities.
• Monitoring environmental performance and undertaking project site inspections.
