Job summary

Pick Everard is seeking an Associate Director to lead the Sustainability and Energy division, delivering climate risk assessments, LCA, energy strategies and carbon footprint work across custodial and justice projects.

You will oversee project delivery, manage teams, and develop client relationships, serving as the main contact for all Sustainability and Energy workstreams, including MoJ engagements.

Qualifications

• Degree or MSc in Sustainability with relevant experience.
• Deep knowledge of embodied and operational carbon and Net Zero design.
• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven leadership with ability to manage teams.
• Experience securing new work and client management.
• Understanding of sustainability legislation.
• Experience with MoJ or central government projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Sustainability and Energy department and manage delivery across projects.
• Provide line management and pastoral care to the team.
• Champion sustainability best-practice across the business.
• Coordinate cross-team activities and governance across workstreams.
• Develop and maintain client relationships; be the main contact for MoJ streams.
