Job summary

Etex Bristol is seeking a Supply Chain Planner to manage replenishment and inventory across UK sites. You will balance demand, stock, and working capital while coordinating with suppliers and internal teams.

Based at our Bristol sites with hybrid work (two days on plant or in office), you will monitor inventory, set safety stock, and support launches and transitions to minimize waste and cost.

Qualifications

• Experience using ERP/SAP to manage planning, inventory and supply chain processes.
• Experience with MRP tools to ensure material availability.
• Knowledge of inventory management techniques including safety stock and optimization.
• UK Driving Licence.
• Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Strong problem-solving capability and cross-team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day replenishment of traded goods across UK sites; keep stock aligned with demand and working capital targets.
• Review supply and usage data to spot shortages or slow-moving items before they become problems.
• Set and maintain inventory planning parameters like safety stock levels to match demand and lead times.
• Work with Commercial and Product Management teams to adjust supply plans based on demand changes.
• Coordinate with suppliers to plan inbound deliveries and avoid bottlenecks in the warehouse.
• Support product launches and phase-outs, ensuring smooth transitions to minimise waste and disruption.
• Investigate inventory variances and implement improvements.
