Job summary

FSW Ltd in Cannock Distribution is seeking an Environmental and Sustainability Officer to support carbon reporting and compliance. You will work with the Group Sustainability Manager to analyze data, drive improvements and ensure ISO 14001 aligned processes.

The role focuses on collecting environmental data, SECR reporting, and supplier and internal stakeholder engagement to enhance sustainability performance across the group.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in an environmental or sustainability role is essential.
• Educated to degree level in Environmental Management, Sustainability or related discipline.
• Excellent Microsoft Excel skills for data manipulation and reporting.
• ISEP member at Associate grade or higher is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage collection, validation and analysis of environmental data for carbon reporting (Scope 1-3).
• Coordinate data collection for annual carbon footprinting and SECR reporting.
• Coordinate Packaging EPR data collection and validation from suppliers and stakeholders.
• Handle WEEE, Batteries and broader Producer Responsibility compliance activities.
• Oversee waste management reporting and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Maintain ISO 14001 records and support continual environmental improvement.
• Coordinate internal audits and corrective actions.
• Maintain environmental legal register and monitor legislation changes.
• Support supplier sustainability due diligence and ESG questionnaires.
• Collaborate across the business to improve data quality.
• Support group-wide sustainability projects as required.
