Job summary

Veolia in the West Midlands is seeking a DESA Contract Coordinator to build strong relationships with stakeholders and customers, ensuring delivery against KPIs and contract margins. The role involves solving issues quickly, reporting on contract progress, and promoting growth through new services.

With 40-hour weeks and a base salary of £30,000 per annum, you will contribute to Veolia’s sustainable objectives and benefit from development opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• A Level (or equivalent) qualification.
• Strong organisational and planning skills.
• Confident written and verbal communication.
• Experience in a customer-focused environment.
• Knowledge of the waste industry is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong, respectful relationships with internal stakeholders and external customers, ensuring service delivery meets contractual KPIs.
• Respond to and resolve customer requests promptly, using problem-solving to optimise contract revenue and margins.
• Produce clear, accurate reports on work completed under the contract.
• Support DESA customers and ensure services are delivered per their requirements, while identifying opportunities for growth.
• Help Veolia deliver a competitive, high-quality service offering to DESA.
• Promote waste hierarchy improvements and minimise environmental impact of haulage.
