The Opportunity:

An exciting opportunity to work within a growing team providing consultancy services to clients in support of their sustainability goals. You will be a key member of a small, dynamic, multi-skilled team delivering strategy, analytical, and operational services across energy and climate sustainability.

About Us:

NUS Consulting specializes in energy management and sustainability, working with UK, European, and global clients on projects like Net-Zero strategy development, GHG assessments, policy analysis, and sustainability systems-thinking.

The Role – Experienced Sustainability Consultant / Analyst:

In this role, you will engage in project work covering analytical, technical, and policy aspects; manage project pipelines; participate in proposals and client engagement; and contribute to the strategic development of the team.

Person Specification:

Experience

• Previous experience in sustainability consulting, corporate sustainability, or related fields
• Ability to contribute to product and service development within the team
• Experience delivering large projects in teams
• Deep knowledge of energy, climate, and sustainability from various perspectives
• Experience with reporting frameworks like CDP, SBTi, GHG Protocol, TCFD, GRI
• Knowledge of holistic sustainability including social, economic, and environmental aspects

Education and Skills

• 2-5+ years of relevant experience
• Bachelor’s degree in a numerate, analytical discipline
• Masters in sustainability or related field, with strong communication skills
• Experience with modelling and quantitative analysis
• Excellent reporting, presentation, and data visualization skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with Python and analytical tools is a plus
