Our journey to Net Zero provides increasingly exciting opportunities and we are now seeking a Sustainability Adviser to accelerate our progress. We have already started to influence climate action in society, exploiting our position in the motorsport industry to influence competition rules on sustainable fuels. We are already starting to integrate climate into our business strategy too, as we support our clients with innovative solutions and products to achieve their net zero commitments. But to build a credible platform there is more we can and should be doing to reduce our own emissions and those of our value chain.

In this new role you will co-ordinate across our companies the range of environmental initiatives ensuing alignment and traction. You will help us establish suitably ambitious but achievable targets and then project manage our action plans to ensure we are delivering on our commitments. You will be passionate but pragmatic, driven and demanding (in a nice way!) and collaborative but confident in doing whatever it takes to get the right results.

We can be flexible with the part-time hours to suit the right candidate.

Job Responsibilities

• Co-ordinate the delivery of our Net Zero strategy across the company

• Support the Prodrive group with data for legislative requirements such as ESOS and SECR

• Support Prodrive businesses with their ISO 14001 certification and customer requirements

• Support our facilities team with their environmental objectives including the streamlining of reporting tools

• Interrogate our ERP system for net zero data and influence its evolution to make emissions reporting in the future more robust

• Project manage across a variety of environmental workstreams

• Develop communications to engage management and the wider team with our sustainability agenda

What you’ll bring:

• Passion and energy for all things environmental

• Knowledge and understanding of the net zero landscape, metrics and best practice

• Experience garnered in preparing business for environmental accreditation

• Ability to influence, generate consensus and buy-in/commitment to action plans

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Confidence in presenting new ideas to wider team and across departments.

• Ability to work collaboratively.

• Ability to direct and coordinate team members as part of content creation.

• Pride in the quality of your work.

• Ability to monitor, analyse and present metrics to measure the success of campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly.
