Bolton & Menk is hiring a Survey Technician in Burnsville

What You Will Do:

• Assist in producing survey drawings
• Perform basic survey computations
• Use CAD and other survey/engineering software for drawing preparation
• Assist with survey field operations, including construction staking and physical tasks such as shoveling, lifting, and carrying 25-50 lbs
• Operate survey instruments (robotic total stations, GPS, data collectors) to collect and process data

What We Are Looking For:

• High School Diploma or an Associate’s Degree in Land Surveying Technology, Civil Engineering Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of CAD and survey software (AutoCAD Civil3D, MicroStation)
• Ability to learn and apply survey and engineering concepts effectively
• Good time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Advanced math skills and attention to detail
• Valid driver’s license and insurability; motor vehicle record check required

Salary Range:

$43,500 - $79,000, depending on experience and credentials
