Mersey and West Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a Staff Nurse for Ward 10b on a 37.5 hour, fixed-term contract (maternity cover until October 2027). The role involves delivering patient-centred nursing care on a busy surgical ward with a dedicated assessment unit.

Qualifications

• 1st Level Registered Nurse (degree/diploma) is required.
• Current NMC Registration is mandatory.
• Evidence of continuing professional development (CPD) is expected.

• Assisting in the delivery of a patient-centred, clinically effective and dynamic service from admission to discharge.
• Delivering evidence-based nursing care to general surgical, urology and colorectal patients.
• Access to training and development programmes to support career progression.
