Job summary

Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board (BCUHB) is recruiting Band 2 Healthcare Assistants for the Surgical Ward at Ysbyty Gwynedd, Bangor. The roles are permanent, full-time, 37.5 hours per week, with an internal rotation across the ward to support emergency and elective patients.

Experience in an acute hospital is advantageous but training will be provided. Applicants should be team players with patient-care skills; Welsh or English speakers are welcome to apply, with Welsh being desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience in an Acute Hospital setting would be an advantage, but training will be given.
• The position involves working within the Surgical Unit; supports emergency and elective patients.
• Must work on an internal rotation contract within ward.
• Applicants will work as part of a team of nurses and undertake patient care tasks under supervision.
• Welsh or English speakers are welcome to apply.
