Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board invites applications for the role of Domestic Assistant at Ysbyty Bryn Beryl, covering wards, departments and ancillary areas. The position involves cleaning duties across multiple site areas with shifts 08:00 to 18:00 and requires reliability and teamwork.

The role includes a 4–6 week induction with on‑the‑job training in cleaning procedures, health and safety and COSHH, and is open to Welsh and English speakers. Welsh language ability is desirable.

Qualifications

• Essential criteria: meets all criteria per attached job description/person specification.
• Desirable criteria: experience of working as part of a team.
• Desirable criteria: experience of cleaning services.
• Aptitude and Abilities: able to organise and prioritise own workload.
• Aptitude and Abilities: basic numeracy and literacy skills.

Responsabilités

• Carrying out cleaning and related duties within wards, departments, public and staff areas and residential accommodation.
• Induction period with on the job training including operational cleaning procedures, Health and safety, COSHH.
