Job summary

Band 2 Nursing Assistant role at Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board, Gwynedd Hospital, Bangor, is a part-time post within the Surgical Directorate. You will work as part of a ward team delivering holistic patient care under supervision, with training provided where needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist the registered nurse/practitioner to deliver a high standard of holistic patient care, ensuring dignity and equality.
• Incorporate fundamentals of care principles into daily practice for high-quality service.
• Assist patients with hygiene and personal appearance.
• Perform duties within the plan of care delegated by a qualified practitioner.
• Prepare ward/clinical area for receiving patients; keep area clean and report untidiness.
• Assist in admission of new patients, prepare bed/trolley area and welcome the patient.
