Job summary

Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board NHS is seeking a part-time District Nurse support worker to join the Anglesey district nursing team. The post is permanent, rotational day/night shifts, 7.5 hours per week, and involves travelling to patients’ homes in the community.

Qualifications

• Good general standard of education.
• Welsh speaker.
• NVQ Level 3 in care; sufficient experience in care work.

Responsibilities

• Assist the district nursing service to deliver care to patients in the community.
• Provide patient care as documented in the care plan under direction of a registered nurse.
• Travel between patients' homes in town and rural areas in a timely manner.
• Participate in the ongoing change programme and support service modernisation.
