Job summary

North Cheshire And Mersey NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Staff Nurse for the Surgical SDEC team in Warrington. The role covers rapid assessment, treatment and management of acute surgical presentations within a same-day pathway, with focus on safe, timely care and excellent patient flow.

The post holder will assess and manage patients, work with the multidisciplinary team, and coordinate admissions, transfers and discharges as required, while upholding NHS standards and professional conduct.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with a diploma/degree and current NMC registration.
• Experience in acute hospital settings and SDEC/ED preferred.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to overcome barriers.
