The Osteotec Spine Division is searching for a Territory Sales Manager to join their team in the West Midlands. Birmingham, Leicester, Nottingham, and Derby would be ideal locations.
Brief Description: The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for achieving sales in the designated territory in line with company objectives.
Under the guidance of the Sales Manager, the Territory Sales Manager handles all elements of the sales cycle, including setting objectives, sales planning, implementing sales activities, reviewing results, and adjusting the plan.
The role involves growing Osteotec’s business by directly selling products to customers such as Spine Surgeons, clinical and non-clinical decision makers, and enhancing customer service. The manager will also support the acquisition of new customers through technical expertise within the territory.
Responsibilities:
- Promote, demonstrate, and sell a range of spine products into NHS and private hospitals
- Achieve sales results aligned with monthly and annual targets and KPIs
- Sell and demonstrate medical equipment within theatre and clinical environments
- Conduct product trials and evaluations in theatre and clinical settings to drive sales
- Provide excellent customer service to existing clients and during new customer acquisition activities
- Develop and implement an effective sales business plan independently
- Manage resources and materials in the sales area, including consignment stock in hospitals
- Build and maintain relationships with key customers and decision-makers, including spine & orthopaedic surgeons, theatre staff, hospital administration, and procurement, promoting the company's positive image
- Organise and conduct training workshops with surgical and theatre staff
- Report regularly to Sales Managers on sales activities and market conditions
- Maintain relationships with key opinion leaders in the territory
- Ensure all business activities comply with ethical and legal standards
- Coordinate with other company functions to meet sales objectives
- Spend approximately 80% of your time in theatre environments
- Perform other relevant duties as requested

Technical Skills and Experience:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook
- Proven sales, account management, and business development experience

- Experience in medical device sales, preferably in spine, orthopaedics, or operating theatre environments
- Valid driving license for field-based work
