The Osteotec Spine Division is searching for a Territory Sales Manager to join their team in the West Midlands. Ideal locations include Birmingham, Leicester, Nottingham, and Derby.
Brief Description: The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for achieving sales in the designated territory in line with company objectives.
Under the guidance of the Sales Manager, the Territory Sales Manager manages all elements of the sales cycle, including setting objectives, planning sales activities, reviewing results, and adjusting plans accordingly.
The role involves growing Osteotec’s business by directly selling products to customers such as Spine Surgeons, clinical and non-clinical decision-makers, and enhancing customer service. It also includes supporting the acquisition of new customers through technical expertise within the territory.
Responsibilities:
- Promote, demonstrate, and sell a range of spine products to NHS and private hospitals.
- Achieve sales results aligned with monthly and annual targets and KPIs.
- Sell and demonstrate medical equipment within theatre and clinical environments.
- Conduct product trials and evaluations in clinical settings to drive sales.
- Provide excellent customer service to existing clients and during new customer acquisition activities.
- Develop and implement an effective sales business plan independently.
- Manage resources and materials in the sales area, including consignment stock in hospitals.
- Build and maintain relationships with key customers and decision-makers, including surgeons, theatre staff, and hospital administration, promoting the company's positive image.
- Organize and conduct training workshops with surgical and theatre staff.
- Report regularly to Sales Managers on sales activities and market insights.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders in the territory.
- Ensure all business activities comply with ethics and legal standards.
- Coordinate with other company functions to meet sales objectives.
- Spend approximately 80% of time in theatre environments.
- Perform other relevant duties as requested.
