Bedfordshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking two full-time Clinical Trainer roles based at Luton and Bedford. The posts support nurses, nursing associates and CSWs through 1:1 teaching, clinical supervision and pastoral support, bridging knowledge gaps and developing staff across surgical wards.

You will work under the Surgical Practice Development Nurse and contribute to high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Experience in teaching clinical skills within a surgical environment.
• Ability to assess and support clinical competencies.
• Familiar with preceptorship and care certificates.

Responsabilités

• Develop and deliver clinical skills training programmes for multi-professional audiences.
• Provide 1:1 clinical teaching with guidance and supervision.
• Promote patient safety through training and coaching to improve patient experience.
• Manage assessment of clinical skills and report competency data quarterly.
• Collaborate with Surgical PDN and ward managers on training needs.
