Job summary

Tees Esk and Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Clinical Skills Trainer to join the Clinical Skills Training team, based at Lanchester Road Hospital, Durham or Flatts Lane Centre, Middlesbrough. The role delivers and supports programmes of training to meet standards from RRN, NICE, Department of Health and Safety, and Resuscitation Council.

You will provide specialist advice on restrictive interventions, promote a positive image of people with mental health conditions and learning

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent competency-based training in health and social care in mental health and/or learning disability.
• Education development within a health or social care related subject.

Responsibilities

• Deliver programmes of training across the Trust to ensure safe restrictive intervention and Resus training.
• Deliver complex information within training sessions in an articulate and clear manner.
• Follow standards and guidelines for the provision of training in restrictive interventions and Resus.
• Monitor training in the safe and therapeutic use of restrictive interventions regularly.
