Job summary

Enable Group is seeking an experienced Surfacing Supervisor to join their team in Leeds. This permanent position offers an excellent salary range of £50,000–£65,000 and career progression within a successful civil engineering contractor.

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in supervising surfacing gangs and a strong understanding of road surfacing operations. Responsibilities include overseeing site activities, ensuring safety compliance, and coordinating resources.

Qualifications

• Previous experience supervising surfacing or highways gangs is essential.
• Strong understanding of road surfacing and asphalt operations is required.
• The candidate must hold an SSSTS or SMSTS qualification.

• Ensuring works are delivered safely and in line with RAMS.
• Coordinating labour, plant and materials.

• Coordinating labour, plant and materials

• Liaising with Site Agents and Contracts Managers
• Promoting a positive health & safety culture

Requirements

• Previous experience supervising surfacing or highways gangs
• Strong understanding of road surfacing and asphalt operations
• SSSTS or SMSTS preferred
• CSCS Card
• Full UK Driving Licence
