Prodrive in the United Kingdom is seeking a Surface Designer to join the Engineering Vehicle Design group. You will design aerodynamic and structural surfaces from concept to manufacture, working closely with CFD and analysis teams to optimise models and deliver robust solutions for high-performance race programs.

The role requires a degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering, proven motorsport experience, and expert CAD skills (Siemens NX, Teamcenter).

Responsibilities

• Design aerodynamic and structural surfaces across the vehicle.
• Collaborate with CFD and Structural Analysts to optimise surface models.

• Deliver CAD assemblies and detailed designs to timelines and budgets.
• Release parts and BOMs and ensure BOM accuracy throughout projects.
• Engage with suppliers and internal teams to ensure manufacturability and robustness.

With a new generation of race and rally programmes on our horizon, we’re entering a phase of growth and opportunity and are looking for talented engineers to help us design and develop elite performance vehicles that will ensure we stay ahead of the game.We have an exciting opportunity for a Surface Designer to join our Engineering Vehicle Design group, to provide advanced surfacing expertise across a variety of high-performance motorsport programmes.
