Job summary

Prodrive in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Surface Designer to lead aerodynamic and structural surface work across high-performance motorsport programmes.

You will collaborate with CFD and structural teams, deliver CAD assemblies, manage BOMs and contribute to cost-aware design decisions in a fast-paced, championship-winning environment.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering or a related discipline.
• At least five years' experience in a high-performance motorsport design environment.
• Proven expertise creating and developing aerodynamic and engineering surfaces.

Responsibilities

• Design aerodynamic and structural surfaces across the vehicle.
• Work with CFD and Structural Analysts to develop and optimise surface models.
• Deliver CAD assemblies and detailed designs to timelines and budgets.
• Release parts and BOMs and ensure documentation is current.

With a new generation of race and rally programmes on our horizon, we’re entering a phase of growth and opportunity and are looking for talented engineers to help us design and develop elite performance vehicles that will ensure we stay ahead of the game.We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Surface Designer to join our Engineering Vehicle Design group, to provide advanced surfacing expertise across a variety of high-performance motorsport programmes.
