Job summary

Home Group is seeking caring staff to help customers live independently and make choices that matter. You will assist with daily tasks, personal care, and supporting customers to achieve personal goals in a safe and welcoming environment.

The role offers a 37.5-hour week on a rolling rota, including every other weekend, and includes benefits such as a Health Cash Plan and pension contributions.

Qualifications

• Level 2 Health and Social Care Certificate or willingness to work towards it.
• Ability to support customers to live independently with attention to detail.
• Experience in caring for others, professionally or personally.
• Confident using initiative, stay calm under pressure and be resilient.

Responsibilities

• Help customers with everyday tasks like cooking, shopping, budgeting and keeping their home.
• Support personal goals and independence as set out in customer support plans.
• Assist with appointments, hobbies, college or work.
• Provide personal care, medication and emotional support.
• Complete risk assessments, set goals and review progress.
