Confidential in Mansfield is seeking compassionate Support Workers to join our team in supported living settings. You will help adults with autism, learning disabilities, mental health needs and complex behaviours to live safely, independently and with dignity, by assisting with daily routines, personal care, meals, budgeting and community activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum one years experience in a support or care role.
• Confident working with individuals with complex needs or behaviours that challenge.
• Strong communication skills and emotional resilience.
• A passion and drive to make a difference.
• A team player with a proactive, person-centred approach.

Responsibilities

• Promote and support independence, dignity and respect at all times.
• Supporting individuals with daily living activities, including medication, meals, shopping, budgeting, household tasks, and may also include personal care.
• Encourage social inclusion and confidence in the community.
• Monitor and promote individuals physical and mental wellbeing.
• Follow and implement person-centred support plans.
• Support individuals with their personal goals.
• Use your experience and training to manage and de-escalate challenging behaviours.
• Work collaboratively with your team to maintain high-quality support.
• Maintain accurate up-to-date daily records, reports and incident forms.
