Job summary

Canterbury Oast Trust is seeking a Supported Living Support Worker to help adults with learning disabilities live independent, fulfilling lives in their own homes. You will support people in their own supported living homes with daily living skills, community access and personal goals, helping them build confidence, independence and choice in their day to day lives.

Vacancies are based at Warren Mews & Ellis Drive (New Romney).

Qualifications

• Caring, patient and respectful approach to supporting adults with learning disabilities.
• Experience is welcome but not essential; full training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Support adults with learning disabilities in daily living activities within their own homes.
• Assist with community access and participation in day-to-day life.
• Help clients set personal goals and work toward greater independence.
• Provide encouragement and practical assistance to build confidence and choice.

Pay and hours

Pay depends on the contract type. This currently ranged from £12.89 per hour for part time and casual roles to £25,135.50 for full time. We will confirm the exact pay, hours and site with you once we have matched you to a role.
