Job summary

RJS RESOURCING LTD in the United Kingdom is seeking compassionate Support Workers for our supported living services, including dementia support. You will help individuals live independently, build confidence, and enjoy meaningful activities while following person-centred care plans.

Shift patterns vary (day, night, 7:00-21:00, 9:00 PM-7:00 AM, 11:00-18:00) with alternating weekends and some flexibility. The role includes care tasks, documentation, and collaboration with families and healthcare

Qualifications

• Previous care experience is required.
• A compassionate, patient and reliable approach is expected.

Responsibilities

• Supporting individuals with personal care and medication.

• Liaising with families, colleagues and healthcare professionals.
• Completing accurate support records and reporting concerns.

We are recruiting compassionate and reliable Support Workers to join our supported living services, including packages supporting individuals living with dementia.

You will help individuals live as independently as possible, supporting them to develop confidence, maintain everyday living skills and enjoy meaningful, fulfilling lives.

Pay and Benefits

• £13.50-£13.70 per hour

Shifts Available

• 7:00am-9pm
• 9pm-7.00am Waking nights
• 11am-6pm
• Alternate weekends are required
• Some flexibility around shift patterns may be available

What You'll Be Doing

Requirements

• Previous care experience
• A compassionate, patient and reliable approach
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• A commitment to promoting independence and individual choice
• Availability to work alternate weekends
• A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
• The right to work in the UK

An NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care would be highly desirable. However, ongoing training and support to achieve these qualifications will be provided.
