    • Conduct mental health assessments and care reviews, providing clinical advice and interventions where necessary.
    • Offer guidance on the management of medication, mental health interventions, and therapeutic approaches for staff working with service users.
    • Ensure the implementation of risk assessments for service users, with a focus on mental health crises, self-harm, and safeguarding concerns.
  • Staff Management and Development:
    • Manage and lead a team of support workers, including recruitment, training, supervision, and performance management, ensuring they have the skills and support to provide excellent care.
    • Foster a supportive, positive, and inclusive working environment that promotes staff engagement, retention, and professional development.
    • Provide clinical supervision and mentorship to staff members, ensuring their practice is aligned with best practice guidelines for mental health care.
  • Collaboration and Multidisciplinary Working:
    • Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, occupational therapists, and psychologists, to ensure a holistic, person-centred approach to care.
    • Liaise with families, carers, and external agencies to ensure the provision of coordinated care and support.
    • Facilitate multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss service user progress, care planning, and any concerns.
  • Health and Safety Compliance:
    • Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of both service users and staff by promoting a safe working environment and adhering to risk management protocols.
    • Conduct and review regular risk assessments, particularly in relation to mental health issues and any associated behaviours.
    • Oversee safeguarding procedures and ensure that service users are protected from harm and abuse, in line with safeguarding guidelines.
  • Budget Management and Resource Allocation:
    • Monitor and manage the budget for supported living services, ensuring the effective use of resources while maintaining high standards of care.
    • Work closely with the finance team to ensure financial targets are met and that service delivery remains cost-effective.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Regularly review and evaluate the services provided to ensure they are of the highest quality and meet the needs of service users.
    • Use feedback from service users, families, and staff to make improvements to the care and support provided.
