Job summary

Lincoln College in Lincoln invites applications for a Supported Internship Coordinator to lead and develop our internship program for students.

You will actively seek and place students in suitable work placements, work with the Work Experience and Industry Placement Team, engage external agencies, and tailor support with the Job Coach to promote independence and progression to Apprenticeships and employment.

This key role involves establishing and overseeing Supported Internships for our students. As the Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in actively seeking and matching students with ideal work placements. You will work hand-in-hand with the Work Experience and Industry Placement Team and engage with a variety of external agencies to ensure success.

Your influence will extend beyond placements; you will inspire students to pursue greater independence, ultimately guiding them toward Apprenticeships and rewarding employment opportunities. Collaborating closely with the vocational tutor, you will identify individual support needs and effectively connect them with the Job Coach, ensuring each student's journey is a successful one.
