This job is responsible for providing housing support in a high-quality housing service located in Stevenage, supporting Separated Migrant Children individuals aged 16 to 18 years. The role involves working in partnership with Children Services and other external agencies to support young people in transitioning from dependence to independence. The position is part of a team offering personal counselling, support, and enablement to individuals with various needs, including mental health, trauma, English as a second language, life skills, and adapting to life in the UK.
The role requires flexible working hours according to a rota, negotiated with the line manager, aligned with service user needs.
