Vetro Recruitment is seeking a Supported Housing Manager in Cardiff to oversee service delivery across multiple projects. You will lead teams to provide high-quality housing support to vulnerable individuals, including those with complex needs, in a dynamic, trauma-informed environment.

The role requires line management experience, knowledge of housing issues, safeguarding, risk management, and strong liaison with partner agencies.

Qualifications

• Diploma level or equivalent (QCF Level 2 or 3) required.
• Proven line management experience in a support environment.
• Knowledge of housing and homelessness issues affecting vulnerable populations.
• Experience in risk management, safeguarding, and safety planning.
• Strong communication with partner agencies and teams.
• Driving licence and access to a car.

Responsabilités

• Lead and manage teams to deliver housing-related support to vulnerable individuals aged 16+.
• Oversee project performance, ensure funding compliance and standards.
• Build and maintain relationships with statutory and voluntary agencies including Social Services and Housing.
• Manage referrals, risk assessments, safeguarding and safety planning.
• Participate in the on-call rota, providing support outside standard hours.
• Monitor budgets and ensure financial procedures are followed.
• Contribute to continuous service improvement through audits and reflective practice.

Job Description

Our client, a leading organisation in housing and support services, is seeking a dedicated Supported Housing Manager to oversee service delivery across multiple projects in Cardiff. This role involves working closely with teams to ensure high-quality support for vulnerable individuals, including those with complex needs, in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Leading and managing teams to deliver housing-related support to vulnerable individuals aged 16 and over.
• Overseeing project performance, ensuring compliance with funding requirements and organisational standards.
• Building and maintaining effective relationships with statutory and voluntary agencies, including Social Services and Housing.
• Managing referrals, risk assessments, safeguarding concerns, and safety planning to ensure the safety and well‑being of individuals supported.
• Participating in the on‑call rota, providing telephone and in‑person support outside of standard hours.
• Monitoring budgets, authorising expenditure, and ensuring financial procedures are followed.
• Contributing to continuous service improvement through audits, case reviews, and reflective practice sessions.

Requirements & Qualifications

• An educational qualification such as a Diploma level or equivalent (QCF Level 2 or 3).
• Proven experience in line management within a support environment, supporting individuals with complex needs, including mental health, trauma, or substance misuse.
• Knowledge of housing and homelessness issues affecting vulnerable populations.
• Experience in risk management, safeguarding, and safety planning.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with partner agencies and support teams.
• A driving licence and access to a car.
