Job summary

Voyage Care in Waterbeach seeks dedicated Support Workers to enrich the lives of people we support. The role offers a welcoming, friendly environment with a dynamic team delivering person-centered care.

Our service supports individuals with learning disabilities, epilepsy, autism, dementia and cerebral palsy. We provide full training, professional development, and a collaborative care approach with local health services.

Qualifications

• Induction and ongoing professional development provided.
• Non-clinical care experience valued in health and social care.
• Willingness to learn and grow within a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with learning disabilities, epilepsy, autism, dementia and cerebral palsy.
• Provide new opportunities and activities to enhance quality of life.
• Coordinate with local GP and Community Nurses to meet health needs.

Job description

We are currently looking for Support Workers to join our friendly team. If you feel you can enhance the lives of people we support through offering new opportunities we would love to hear from you. This service has a welcoming and friendly environment with a dynamic team that supports a fantastic group of people!

Waterbeach supports four individuals who have been in the Service for many years. The people we support at this service have conditions such as Learning Disabilities, Epilepsy, Autism, Dementia and Cerebral Palsy. Full training and continued development is available to meet the high level of health needs. The service has excellent relationships with the local community enjoy visiting the botanical gardens in Cambridge, bowling, swimming, to the local pub, to the village carnival and accessing local shops. We liaise with the local GP surgery and Community Nurses to ensure all needs are met , this collaborative approach ensures the people we support receive a high standard of care.
