Job summary

Autism Initiatives NI in Bangor is seeking Full-Time & Part-Time Support Workers to join a dedicated team. You will support autistic individuals in daily living, education, work, and leisure, helping them achieve greater independence in a respectful, person-centred environment.

Qualifications

  • Working, voluntary or personal knowledge of providing care and/or support.
  • Be flexible to work on a rota basis that includes unsocial hours and weekends.
  • NISCC registered or apply to register on appointment.
  • A full UK Driving Licence to be held for a manual vehicle for a minimum of one year.

  • You will work alongside people who use our services, supporting in a range of activities, including developing independence in daily living, accessing work/education and leisure activities.
  • The role involves assisting with daily living tasks, encouraging participation in activities, and supporting service users to access education, work and leisure.

We have the following shifts available in our Bangor services:

Currently we are unable to provide Sponsorship or take over Sponsorship of an employment Visa.

  • AM shifts: 07.45am – 15.00pm
  • PM shifts: 14.45pm – 22.15pm
  • Night shifts: 22.00pm – 09.30am

Essential Criteria:
