We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Support Worker who has experience working with young people aged 16 – 25, and possesses empathy, patience, and dedication to provide exceptional support.
As a Support Worker, you will work as part of a team to provide a safe and welcoming environment for young people within housing projects and the community.
Your role involves helping young people through the housing pathway to improve their quality of life and independence.
DUTIES
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting young people in housing projects and the community to develop skills for independent living.
- Assisting in providing support across various areas, including accommodation and community-based work, helping those not housed to identify, secure, and set up accommodation for independent living.
- Supporting young people through each stage of their time with the organization, focusing on the five outcomes: Being Healthy, Staying Safe, Enjoying and Achieving, Making a Positive Contribution, and Economic Well-being.
- Managing housing duties such as administration, rent collection, repairs notification, and health and safety tasks to ensure a safe, welcoming environment for clients and staff.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Knowledge of support agencies and networks for young people aged 16-25.

- Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office and Outlook.
- Must hold a Full Drivers Licence and have Access to a Vehicle.
