Velox Social Care is seeking dedicated Support Workers across Tameside and Greater Manchester to provide quality, person-centred care to Children and Young People (CYP) requiring structured support. We aim to find passionate, committed individuals who want to make a positive difference in children’s lives, helping them reach their potential and supporting others to do the same.

Your role will involve supporting young people to progress positively through encouragement, understanding, care, and patience. Responsibilities include recording daily logs, liaising with colleagues, our Care Management Team, and external agencies.

We offer flexible shift options and are interested in candidates available for day/night shifts and ongoing block bookings.

Minimum requirements for consideration include:

1. Right to Work in the UK
2. At least 6 months UK experience in a similar CYP setting
3. In-date PMVA or Team Teach certificate (willing to undertake training if PMVA-trained)
4. Enhanced Child DBS subscribed to the update service (or willing to obtain one)
5. Relevant Qualifications (Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care)
