Job summary

Affinity Trust is seeking a dedicated Night Support Worker for our home in Bexhill-on-Sea, East Sussex. You will work 30 hours per week on waking nights (10pm–7:30am) supporting adults with learning disabilities and complex needs, helping with personal care, medication, and daily routines.

Full training provided, with opportunities to complete an NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care. You may be required to work some weekends and attend daytime training sessions as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting adults with learning disabilities is welcomed.
• Willingness to work 10pm–7:30am and flexible weekends.
• Ability to connect with individuals through daily routines and activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide night-time support and assistance with personal care.
• Assist with taking medication and daily living activities when needed.
• Support residents to get up and ready for the day and promote independence.

Who will I support?

We are looking for someone to join our team working nights at our home in Bexhill on Sea, East Sussex, supporting adults with learning disabilities and complex needs support.

You will be working in their home, so it’s important you can connect, whether its because they like to stay up late and watch a film, listen to Music with a hot chocolate, or enjoy a relaxing bath before going to bed. Or they may be early risers and want your support to get up and ready for the day ahead, and so your role will be to provide responsive support during the night and early morning as required.

People may need support with areas of their personal care and well-being, support to take medication or help getting around.

Waking Nights run form 10pm - 7.30am. You will need to be able to work flexibly, including some weekends.

You will need to be able to attend training and meetings during the day as required.

*Pay rate of £13.10 is effective as of 26th October 2026. Current rate £13.00
