Job summary

Mencap in Trowbridge is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join our team on a permanent basis, with both part-time and full-time options.

You will support five residents with learning disabilities in a registered care home, helping them lead independent, inclusive lives in their local community. Flexibility for varied shifts is required.

Summary

Calling all compassionate and dedicated individuals! Mencap is seeking a passionate Support Worker to join our incredible team in Trowbridge on a Full time or Part-time permanent basis.

We have a registered care home where five men who have Learning Disabilities live and enjoy a great life.

As a Support Worker, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of these individuals. Each person has their own unique abilities and needs, and you will be supporting them to live the life they choose.

What we're looking for

Contract options

• Part time 25 hrs
• Full-time 37.5 hrs

All our services are 24hr care. We prepare the rotas at least 4 weeks in advance so you can still plan your personal and social life!

Shift times

• Days and weekends: 8-6pm, 3pm-8pm, 11am-6pm, 7am-6pm, 12noon-10pm
• Sleep-ins: 2pm - 2.30pm next day
• There is also a sleep-in available where you will receive an enhanced flat rate payment of £63.70
• Will need to have a Full UK Driving Licence
• All roles are subject to an enhanced DBS check and suitable references
