Mencap in Chippenham is hiring a Support Worker to assist people with learning disabilities in daily activities and social support. You will offer companionship, emotional encouragement, and practical help across varied duties.
The role is full-time (37.5 hours per week) with shifts including evenings, weekends and bank holidays. A DBS check and strong person-centered approach are required, with generous benefits and training provided.

As a Support Worker, you’ll have the chance to make a real and lasting difference in the lives of people with learning disabilities. You’ll work with a diverse group of individuals, each with their own unique strengths, personalities, and support needs.
From supporting with everyday activities to offering emotional encouragement and companionship, your role will be varied, rewarding, and truly meaningful.
Our services provide 24-hour care, and rotas are prepared at least 4 weeks in advance, giving you the flexibility to plan your personal and social life.
